Learn how to use your domestic sewing machine to create numerous quilting designs for open spaces, borders, and piece-work accentuation. This course is suitable for those with basic sewing skills, rotary cutting experience, and knowledge of quilt construction.

Experience the wonder of Alice’s fantasy world as we create a variety of quilt blocks and go down the rabbit hole with different piecing techniques. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced quilter, it will be an enjoyable learning experience. 

Bountiful Bindings
Learn the ins and outs of quilt bindings. This course will cover numerous options including machine and hand stitching options, hidden binding, faux flange, bias binding, and more.

Piecing Basics
This course will introduce you to rotary cutting and time-saving block construction techniques. We will cover strip piecing, stitch and flip triangles, chain piecing, flying geese, half square triangles, and applying borders. This class is perfect for both beginners and those who want to gain some pointers while piecing a fun wall hanging.

Modern Abecedary
Let your novelty fabrics find a home in a fun text quilt top while learning Afton’s stress-free method of curved piecing without pins. Make a complete alphabet or create a phrase of your choice.

Paper Piecing 101
Get meticulous points without templates. Demystify the process so that you can approach any foundation paper-pieced pattern with confidence.
