Now that we are a family of five, I've reached an entirely new level of negligence when it comes to taking pictures of the kids. Fortunately, I've made a routine of getting family pictures taken by Jessica Inman a couple times a year. Now my kids won't wonder if I actually raised them, due to the lack of photographic evidence.
Of course, I tend to bring a quilt along. This time, I brought my Summer Breeze quilt (pictured above) made with Pat Sloan's Hometown Girl fabrics for the Fat Quarter Shop's blog hop. Jessica was kind enough to take a few shots of the quilt at the Albuquerque Botanic Gardens where we had our shoot.Photo by Jessica Inman |
Summer Breeze felt right at home with the Farmall tractor. If you're interested in making your own, the pattern can be purchased from Fat Quarter Shop. There's a video tutorial and kit featuring Kate Spain's Latitude batiks available too.

Here I am with my husband Rob, and kids Bryce (7), Linnea (3) and Cade (1). Thanks for humoring my show and tell of the familial variety.
