Fiber Arts Fiesta - Albuquerque MQG Entries

It is my pleasure to show off some beautiful quilts from the Albuquerque Fiber Arts Fiesta, made by my friends at the Albuquerque Modern Quilt Guild.

Sally William's Cephalopod Dreaming is a mash-up of Scrapitude by Charlotte Hawkes, Twinkle Toes and Saltwater Symphony by McKenna Ryan.

I adore Renee of Quilts of a Feather's free motion skills. She always blows me away, and Crystal City is no exception.

I am lucky enough to have acquired this beauty in a swap with Renee.

Amanda Ruden, our awesome ABQMQG President, started this piece in a Jacquie Gering class.

Amanda is also the mastermind behind Quilterly Realism, an appliqué piece inspired by Kasimir Malevich's "Painterly Realism".

Tisha Cavanaugh's Stalagmite Stalactite is a colorful delight.
