Quilt Fiesta Santa Fe: Part II

I'm back with more quilt-related inspiration from Quilt Fiesta Santa Fe. If you missed my last post, check it out.
I loved the ombre effect in "When I am Old I Will Wear Purple" by Elizabeth Rickert, quilted by Sharon Cook. The pattern is by Noah Earnheart for the Missouri Star Quilt Company (although I wasn't able to locate it online).

Kompass Inspired by Kaffe and Katja by Sarb Sarang Khalsa was a vibrant beauty.

I found this extraordinary appliqué in the display for the guild's hand appliqué group, but no further details were provided.

Serendipity by Fran Holden and quilted by Lynn Horpedahl caught my attention, with its negative space and high contrast between bright, warm colors and the dark background.

Back to the Garden by Nancy Arseneault earned first place for Appliqué and Best of Show using the Piece O'Cake Anniversary Quilt Pattern.

The unique quilting done by Linda Robinson on Melody Griego's Dandelion Messages quilt caught my attention. Melody used the Sheandoah pattern by Creative Solutions.

I remembered Cover Me in Stories by Carla Beene and quilted by Linda Robinson from the New Mexico State Fair. It was awarded Judge's Choice.

  1. I'm afraid you have the wrong pattern name for the first quilt. It is from MSQC, but it's called the binding tool star, you can find it on their youtube channel.
