Thimbleweeds Quilt Show: The Travel Section

The Thimbleweeds quilt show in Rio Rancho, NM featured a special "Travel Section", which we'll be touring today. If you missed yesterday's overview, feel free to look back.
Members were issued a challenge to create an 18" x 18" piece that answers the question, "Where have you always wanted to go?", "Where have you been?" "How have you gotten there?" or "What did you take?". Enjoy the show!

    Some amazing mini quilts! I think my favorite is the one with the llama (alpaca?) in the corner looking at you with Machu Picchu in the background. I love the whimsy of that one.
