Quilt Market: FreeSpirit

Hey, hey we're the monkeys.
And people say we monkey around.

Tula Pink has gone bananas!

"Monkey Wrench tells the story of a mischievous monkey named Bananas...Bananas has a simple mission, and that is to distract you from the mundane and introduce a little spontaneity into your life whether you like it or not."

"The moral of the story is choose fun, give in to happiness, keep your eyes peeled, and DON'T SLIP on the bananas!"

It's quite certain last year's potential division closure by Coats & Clark, and last minute redemption by Jaftex certainly made for a wrench in the lives of the Free Spirit designers. However, come Market, they were glowing with a vivacious glimpse of the future.

The Monkey Wrench collection, coming this September, has 19 prints, 3 wide backs, and precuts.

Anna Maria showed off her booth full of moody, deep hues in a spectrum of hues.

  1. Now I'm going to be singing that song all day long.
AMH brought back her feathers! and all her prints. That changing of hands last year must have been awkward for the Free Spirit designers, but onward, ever onward they charge. Thanks for showing us their booths!
