Quilt Market: Pattern Designers

Today I'd like to give you a tour around a few of my favorite independent designer booths at the Kansas City Quilt Market. First up is Jodie of Ric Rac. She's an Australian, and her hand-sewn animal patterns are pretty much the most darling things ever.

Allison of Cluck Cluck Sew's booth was rife with inspirational new pattern releases.

Shayla Wolf of Sassafras Lane Designs had a barrage of cheerful animals to welcome shop owners.

With what is quite possibly the most epic use of Cuddle fabric ever, Laura of Slice of Pi Quilts wowed the industry crowd with her creativity.

Dory Cary of Orange Dot Quilts had a plethora of fun projects to share.

Kori Turner-Goodhart of Olive Grace Studios, author of Stitched from the Heart - Quilts and More to Give with Love, had a very sweet and sentimental booth.

Anneliese and Brenda of Eye Candy Quilts had an astounding amount of beautiful quilts on display. check out their offerings for some very innovative choices. On the top right is the Conifer Quilt Pattern. Fat Quarter Shop has a kit available featuring Ruby Star Society Speckled fabrics.

Sweeties is on the far right. I'm also envisioning it as an excellent option for a Harry Potter quidditch snitch.

On the far left is Yonder.

I enjoyed seeing all the wonderful originality on display at Quilt Market thanks to independent pattern designers. Who's your favorite pattern designer lately?

  1. I've been a fan of Jodie's forever so it was fun to see her show up in your post. I think this is the most animal-packed Quilt Market ever, judging by your photos.
