It's been said that quilty friends make the best friends. I'm inclined to agree.
I celebration of the upcoming birth of my third child (who has now been born), my dear friends Renee Hoffman of Quilts of a Feather and Sara Walker joined forces to make me a treasured baby gift.Quilts, rather than bags, are more my forte, so I was very excited that they were so generous of their time and talents.
I love the luxurious Cotton + Steel prints and ample pocket allotment. It holds all my things. I was inspired to make a coordinating diaper changing pad. Unfortunately, throwing a project with iron-on vinyl in the drier is not a very good idea. Now it looks more like a raisin.
Enough about me (and my mishaps); let's talk about my impressive compadres. The quilting may be less apparent from the front, but Renee's workmanship is astounding.
I'd consider having another baby just for a bag like this. Oh wait, that's just the mommy brain acting up again.
Thank you so much Sara and Renee. You guys are awesome!
