Moda is a mogul of the fabric industry. The Moda booth at Quilt Market sprawls, filled with a variety of designers for every style. Let me show you a few of my personal favorites.
Sherri & Chelsi are debuting Summer Sweet, a sorbet array of cheerfulness.
Minick & Simpson merge pretty and patriotic in Mackinac Island. The quilt shown is the Derby House Block of the Month.
Jen Kingwell is a darling, delightful person.
Fine & Sunny is her upcoming collection.
Bonnie of Cotton Way and Camille of Thimble Blossoms have toned town their standard primary-colored brights for more subdued, vintage-esque shades of red, green, and grey.
Vanessa of Lella Boutique, who also authored Jelly Filled (on Amazon), shared her upcoming Bloomington fabric line.
The gorgeous quit behind her is Cathedral.
Modern Halloween fabric collections are hot this season. April Rosenthal joined the Market crowd to share her Midnight Magic line. The quilt on the far right is called Boo Quilt (simple enough), and there's a kit.
As a mom, I can't resist Stacy Iest Hsu's fabrics. (I'm being totally serious here. There are multiple 13" cubical bins to contain my obsession.) Goodness gracious, now there are frogs having a picnic! I can't be helped. If you need some Sunday Picnic too, let me enable you.

I really like the American Jane line that was used in one of the Frivols. Can't remember the name.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure where my first comment went...I said I couldn't begin to choose my favorite Moda line ever, because it was hard to even choose my favorite line from this Quilt Market, although I was thrilled to see Mackinac Island because I love Minick and Simpson and this is as rich and classic as all of their previous lines.
ReplyDeleteMy new favorites are Corey Yoder.

ReplyDeleteI don't pay much attention to fabric lines and makers, except to know "Oh, that's a known company; I can trust their fabric." Of the Moda lines you've shown above, I think I like Fine and Sunny the best. :)
ReplyDeleteIndigo Gathering tickles my fancy.
