Quilt Market: Riley Blake

Did you see the Riley Blake Sashing Stash Challenge winners? Honestly, Riley Blake wasn't in the forefront of my mind when pondering producers of solids until the challenge brought it to my attention. Then, I spotted this attractive beauty at Quilt Market, Color Outside the Lines by Kelli Fannin (Craftsy affiliate link to the pattern). Riley Blake is releasing new solids with Crayola colors called Confetti Cottons.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth and Elizabeth (That's not a typo!) of Simple Simon & Company, who are releasing a minimalistic, nursery-friendly collection called When Skies are Grey. As tempting as it may be to snatch up a bib, bottle, pacifier, and onesie dappled collection, this is more likely what daughter-in-laws everywhere are envisioning for their little bundles. Expectant mothers, voice your preferences and nursery aspirations in the comments.

Quilt Market: Michael Miller

I have a fun fact about Michael Miller; did you know he doesn't even exist? Actually, Michael Miller is a 20-some person company started by Michael Steiner and Kathy Miller. Now that we've got that all straightened out, let's look at their upcoming fabric lines from Quilt Market.

Sarah Jane pulled off a magical booth by unleashing the irresistible potential of unicorns, dragons, castles, stars and mermaids within her new Magic collection. I'm eyeing Kerry Goulder of Kid Giddy's fantastic paper-pieced quilt in the corner! The lookbook is full of beautiful projects too.

Violet Craft, guru of geometric, paper-pieced animals (Abstractions), threw me for a loop and made her latest pattern a landscape. Her new bunny-rich collection is House of Hoppington.

Up and Away is Emily Herrick's new line, filled without air balloons, plaid, and admission tickets.

Quilt Market: Art Gallery

Art Gallery Fabrics is one of my favorite providers of quilting cottons. Their fabric has a very soft hand and luxurious drape. The Art Gallery designers have a very current aesthetic that I find highly appealing. I'd love to show you some of the upcoming lines presented at Quilt Market.
Hello, Ollie is Bonnie Christine's newest collection named after her daughter, which is abundant in sage and pinks, florals and swans. Permit me to shower you in photos of a booth jam-packed-with romantic beauty.

Here's the woman of the hour.

What's black and white and adorable all over? Katarina Rochella's Pandalicious collection.  It's full of imaginative prints in black, white, and pastel hues.

Amy Sinibaldi is back with Playground, a whimsical collection that hints of childhood freedom.

She has a post with more specifics on her blog too.

Sharon Holland blended together multicultural motifs and nature hues in her Tapestry collection.

I found both Dana Willard and her limited edition collection, Boardwalk Delight, to be pure fun.

Bari J. presented an eclectic collection of painted florals, pugs, geometrics, and letters in vibrant gem tones called Joie De Vivre.

Maureen Cracknell's Nightfall is a collection of knock-out prints rife with owls, moon phases, and rabbits.

Heartland is Pat Bravo's Scandinavian-inspired collection in taupe, yellow, and pine green.
