Project 48 Quilt

You may be a year late, but not a dollar short on the 2015 Moda Sampler Block Shuffle. All the instructions are available right now, with no waiting necessary.

Once you've pieced a fabulous Block of the Month, you'll need to quilt it. Not to worry, the Angela Walters classes on Craftsy are always a great resource, and Kathleen's Quilts has a Free Motion Friday feature that is full of inspiration and instruction.
What if you want to design your own quilt? Pattern Jam is a free, user-friendly computer program that allows you to add fabrics to your design and calculate yardage. There are even customizable cheater quilts that can be purchased. An optional paid premium plan is available too.

Will you be joining in on a Block of the Month? Which one(s)?

  1. Wow--so many fun BOMs, I think I'd better clone myself to try one of these. (Kidding--I have enough projects) But I love how you laid them out so I can find them if I want. Happ Sewing!

  2. Thanks for including my Seminole Sampler BOM in your annual list! What a great post and so many great projects to choose from. Hugs from chilly Kansas, Reeze

  3. So many of these were new to me! I am bookmarking the page so I remember!

Here are two that look like fun that you didn't list:
    1) Play with Me QAL 2016 (Classic Board Game blocks released each month after you show you have made the previous month's block.) -
    2) Esther Aliu is sharing a BOM that is really pretty. She shares blocks and patterns on a regular basis but this time it's regular piecing, not hand work so it really caught my eye! Have to join her facebook group to get the patterns and information.
